Lynx High Flow Turnaround

Turnarounds are marked +# for the tenths of a mm the id of the outer o ring groove is offset, not the airflow.

The standard lynx 2.1 turnaround chokes the path down to a cross sectional area of ~100mm^2 where a 13mm barrel can use up to 132mm^2. This modified turnaround widens the choked sections to max out that limit

I found it increased my average on X4 by 4fps and on k25 hijinx by 7fps (with worker 1gs). The hijinx gained 3-4fps on brand new nitroshot+. Testing by kingsupreme1 on discord saw only 1fps increase on minx with blu darts.

Kudos to TofuKat for her version. This turnaround only expands the choked area by the fork to the sides whereas TofuKat's expands it forward and gets partially blocked by the barrel resting across the expanded section. I added an adjusted version of hers that moves the barrel stop 2mm forward to address this, but note that it will break compatibility with muzzle devices that are keyed to the front pin.

The TofuKat turnaround got me ~2fps lower than mine on nitroshot+ with a hijinx, although kingsupreme1 saw a ~5 fps gain on a minx with it over stock.

Jan 2026: added a revised version using loft to create a smoother channel. performed roughly identical (2fps higher if including a low outlier, 1fps lower if excluding it. The same was true compared to a tpu print of the first iteration. likely within margin of error/dart variance)
