This dehydrator tray was designed as a drop-in replacement for common plastic trays used in household food dehydrators. With a diameter of roughly 320 mm, it features an open radial grid structure that ensures even airflow for drying fruit, vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients.
The tray includes a central airflow ring, matching the design of many commercial dehydrators. The dense radial grid provides excellent support for smaller pieces of food while maintaining optimal air circulation. The raised outer rim helps prevent items from sliding off and makes handling easier.
Printing Recommendations
- Material: PETG (recommended), ASA as an alternative
- Layer Height: 0.20–0.30 mm
- Infill: 100%
- Perimeters: 3–4 for added rigidity
- Supports: Not required
Material & Use
PETG is ideal because it handles typical dehydrator temperatures (50–70 °C), resists moisture, and is easy to wash. The tray can be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent.
