Print ONLY in TPU. Hardness doesn't matter all too much. I used 95A and it works fine and prevents it from leaving a mark in my desk. This goes in the rectangular cutout that is across from the screw hole on the desk mount and makes the surface softer and gives it better grip. I would recommend using a PEI textured build plate to put some little grooves right onto the surface of the pad for better grip. Glue the top side to the mount. That would be the side that is on top when the print finishes, or the face without a build plate texture.
