I had 2 Metalcovers from an old PC or Server laying around and used them as Base and Platform for the Scale. You can use any kind of stable Plate Material, e. g. Plywood.
The weightcell ist mounted with some spacers which I made from 10mm Aluminium Stock, bored and threaded for mounting screws. (See Photos.)
