These models by themselves are nothing. These models are tools for you to use to create new spool attachments for your Qidi Plus 4.
There are 3 models. (stl and f3d files provided for each)
- One is a male stub which is simple, just print it as is and it will slide into the female interface.
- One is a female stub which is the NEGATIVE of the female interface. It has built in tolerances already so simply use this model as the ‘tool’ body with the ‘negative’ or ‘cut’ boolean operation on a solid part and your solid part will then have the required female interface to work with the male interface.
- "Supportless" female stub is the exact same as #2 except it has chamfers which makes your part printable without supports. I recommend using this one instead of #2.
I uploaded two photos of examples where I used these interfaces to mount my TPU at an angle and also to attach my Sunlu drier to the spool holder.
