Use these in your vice to assemble AN fittings and hose (or any hex-shaped fastener that you don't want to clamp with metal jaws). The jaws have the correct geometry for typical automotive fuel line AN fittings (I have used them for -6 and -8, but they should be able to do bigger and smaller sizes).
These print flat and the triangular end gussets break away after printing. They are there just to keep the model flat on the build plate. Use “split to objects” so they are treated by the slicer as separate objects for the cleanest breakaway.
The diamond-shaped holes accommodate 5mm diameter, 2mm thick magnets. They are a press-fit, but you can epoxy them in for extra security. These are the same magnets used on my BentoZilla design.
If printing with a .4 nozzle, I recommend printing at least 4 walls (at .45 width), .2 layer height, 40% honeycomb infill, 8 top and bottom layers. Use a durable filament, like PCTG or an impact-modified PLA.
