OVERVIEW
The Safariland Comp III Donut Loader is a simple bench tool designed to make loading Safariland Comp III speedloaders faster, easier, and more consistent.
Compressing the Comp III spring while inserting six cartridges can become tedious when preparing multiple speedloaders for practice or competition. This fixture supports the speedloader body during loading, providing a stable platform that allows pressure to be applied evenly while keeping both hands free to load cartridges.
The design consists of a single printed part, requires no hardware or assembly, and prints in only a few minutes.

TESTING / VALIDATION
I designed this fixture after loading large numbers of Comp III speedloaders for practice and matches. While simple, it significantly reduces the effort required to compress the loader spring and keeps the speedloader stable during cartridge insertion.
The design has no moving parts, requires no hardware, and is small enough to keep on a loading bench or in a range bag. It has become one of those simple tools that gets used every time I’m preparing revolver equipment.
