To print and assemble the battery holder for the AVO8 Multimeter, you will need:

  1. This model printed on its rear to minimise overhangs.
  2. 2 x M4 bolts and nuts
  3. 5x CR2032 Battery Cells

Print the battery case then drop the M4 Nuts inside and use a screw driver in the slot to push them in the holes. I recommend printing with the T shaped hole on the top of the print.

Screw in the M4 bolts, short ones <1cm in length are best.  you should not see the nuts, keep tightening until they disappear into the hexagonal holes. then unbolt to make way for the batteries.

insert 5 x CR2032 battery cells all in the same orientation.  The model has a + at the top, so use that to influence your choice. use a non conductive implement if you need to poke them down.  Do NOT short out the batteries with something metal!

Tighten the bolts to gently squeeze the batteries and make good contact.  Do not deform or pierce the batteries otherwise you will make a mess!
