Grove Sensor Casing small 1x1 snapfit

Case for the smallest Grove Sensor Board with 20x20mm with vertical or horizontal connectors smd or normal should fit, but I only could test vertical through hole. 

Printing

Print with 0.4 nozzle or smaller, since the walls are quite delicate. Parts printed with generic PLA, but choose any material, since even with quite stiff PLA the snap fits work perfectly without breaking.

Bridging of the vertical connector hole should work fine, at least on CC with standard orcaslicer settings for generic PLA.

The flexible snap sections should print nice with the standard 0.4mm nozzle settings in elegoo or orcaslicer. Choose detect thin walls if using bigger nozzles or if you experience problems with the walls.

General remarks

There is one closed top with only the connector hole and one with vents. Luckily, the LED can be fitted through the vents for environmental sensors. A whole in the back accomodates for the RGB LED on the backside of the board. The mounting lids are spaced 35mm apart. The 2,2mm mounting holes go through the whole casing, so the board can still be mounted on some M2 holes spaced 20mm apart, like the original board.

Everything snap fits into place. 

• The lid snaps into the body and can be opened easily with a screw driver or via the holes.
• The Board can be inserted and snap fits as well. As seen in the slicer picture, there is some wall flexibility to help with snapping.
