Originally devised for board games where both players might like their own box while playing, this turned out to be quite decorative in my opinion! The box features four separate compartments, two of which belong to each half. There is also a lid of course, held in place by an M20 screw and an integrated nut in the bottom half.

Looks best if printed in several colors - I'm curious to see what you'll make of it!

How I Designed This

(designed entirely in Tinkercad) I started out with the model for the M20 screw and nut by Nenoti and modeled the bottom part of the box based on the width of the nut and a length I thought would look nice in relation. Next I folded a paper box with that footprint and measured how high the game pieces I was making the box for would fill it, that gave me my floor-to-ceiling height. The second container was easy in comparison, just kind of flipped upside down and with a simple hole in the middle rather than a threaded nut. Shortening the screw in Tinkercad was quite a bit of work and convinced me to start learning new software rather sooner than later, but turned out fine in the end!
