Laparoscopic Manual Transfer Training Plate – 3D Printable
This is a simple training plate designed for basic laparoscopic manual transfer exercises. I’m not a specialist in medical didactics, but I enjoy 3D modeling and created this piece as a spontaneous idea. Feedback is always appreciated, especially from medical professionals. If you need a custom-sized version, feel free to ask!
🧩 Model Overview
📌 Base: “Manual Transfer Exercise Template” – 14 × 14 cm
- Square plate (14 cm × 14 cm). 3.2 mm thickness, optimized to consume minimal material while remaining rigid.
- Includes five 5 mm holes for screws or mounting hardware.
- Clean, practical geometry designed for easy printing on most 3D printers.
📍 Pins (pin_100%, pin_99%, etc.)
- Multiple pin scales available: 100%, 99%, 98%… for fine-tuning fit depending on your printer’s accuracy.
- Designed to be press-fit, no glue required.
- Printable horizontal, allowing good strength and simple setup.
- Recommended scaling:
- Modern printers: 98% provides an excellent fit.
- Less precise printers: try 94–96%.
🔵 Peg Types
- The pack includes two peg styles, inspired by common examples seen in training references.
- Recommended materials: TPU, PLA Flex, or other flexible filaments to provide better tactile feedback during practice.
- Also printable in standard PLA if you prefer rigid pegs.
- All models were optimized to avoid overhang issues and to remain easy to print.
🛠 Assembly Instructions
- Print 20 pins, selecting the scale that best matches your printer calibration.
- Print the base plate.
- Insert all pins using firm but careful pressure (they should not stress the printed layers).
- Print the peg type(s) you want to practice with.
