The figure wears monastic robes draped over the shoulders and body, indicated by smooth, flowing lines and folds. The head features the characteristic ushnisha (a rounded protuberance symbolizing wisdom) and tight, coiled curls for hair.
The statue depicts Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, seated in the lotus position (Padmasana) with the soles of the feet visible. The hands rest in the lap in the Dhyana Mudra (meditation gesture), with the right hand resting atop the left, and the thumbs lightly touching. The Buddha has a serene expression with half-closed eyes, suggesting deep concentration.
