After years in a shabby cardboard box: Finally a rugged box for my nanoVNA! There are already a few models for the nanoVNA-H. But I could not find one that looked like it would fit this bare-bones version… So I had to design one.
This box has room for:
- The nanoVNA.
- A single SMA-plug to SMA-plug adapter in the compartment on the left.
- Some cables and adapters in the compartmend on the right.
The ribs in the lid keep accessories in the right compartment and make sure the nanoVNA stays in it's shadow board. The small cutout right to the nanoVNA makes it easy to lift it out of this box.
I initially wanted to place my calibration kit into the designated spot on the right. But it turns out: Sometimes the SMA-receptacles are soldered too twisted / offset so that there is tot little room… So I improvised and placed that adapter there :-)
Extra material needed for the assembly:
- 6x M3x35 cylinder head screws
- 6x M3 self locking nuts
- (Maybe some washers if you want to feel posh ;)
