This is my favorite sword I've made, being a very large zweihander. I designed this as the first sword I've ever made, and after several modifications, I've made it more professional to assemble. As a reminder, this is a prop, not a weapon, and cannot be used as such, especially in LARP scenarios. Treat it more like a decoration than anything.
I recommend the use of a 72" dowel for core/handle, with 1 ¼" thickness. You can use hot glue as the adhesive to assemble everything.
