This model requires a printer that can print bridges and overhangs reasonably well. It printed fine on my Prusa MK3S. Use PETG or softer for impact resistance.

There is a provided test STL. Print two of these and ensure the print is correct and fits your cells before committing to the full print. The cell cavity is sized to fit Samsung 35E cells very snugly. Scale up and down as needed. You want it to be very snug if you're storing these in a metal container. You do not want cells potentially slipping out and bouncing around.

If printing to stack in an M19A1 sized ammo crate, print one “bottom” STL, and the rest using the “stackable” STL. The “bottom” STL is only used to ensure the bottom embossed cavity of the ammo crate is cleared. If you aren't using an ammo crate and just want a nice storage case, just print the “stackable” STL model. This model serves as both the base and lid for each set of 14 batteries.

Print Settings
  • 0.2mm PETG, 15% infill (default quality profile in PrusaSlicer).
  • 3 Perimeters (Layers and perimeters → Vertical shells → Perimeters: 3)
  • Orientation as provided in STL

Model is sized to fit 210x210mm beds, but you will need to tighten the skirt distance from object (Skirt and brim → Distance from brim/object → 1.5mm), else slicing the model causes it to grow out of bounds.
