Instead of relying on a small custom-made blade, this version is optimized to work seamlessly with a standard 18 mm utility blade—readily available, easy to replace, and highly durable. The redesign significantly improves print efficiency while maintaining structural stability. It prints in approximately 1 hour 57 minutes using only 14 g of filament, compared to the original model’s 2 hours 42 minutes and 19 g. The result is a lighter, faster-printing, and more accessible tool that delivers clean, consistent PET bottle strips for recycling and filament-making projects.
