The T.N.K (Tactical Nappy Kit)

Becoming a new parent means optimising everything — and for me, that absolutely includes 3D printing. After realising our full-size nappy bag (diaper bag for non-Aussies!) was overkill for quick outings, I designed a compact, one-hand-friendly alternative: the Tactical Nappy Kit, or T.N.K.

This project is built on Whity’s excellent parametric storage box model, which I resized and customised to securely hold the essentials for a fast nappy change on the go:

• 3 × nappies

• A travel pack of wipes

• Hand sanitiser

• Nappy/doggy bags

• A “morale booster” mint

• Optional “odour-blocking nasal protection device” 😉

Hardware

• 6 x 25mm M3 screws for the hinges / latches

Contents

• 3 x Newborn size nappies (diapers)

• 1 x Travel wet wipe packet

• 1 x Roll of doggy bags (don't judge)

• 1 x Plastic clothes peg

• 1 x Dettol 50ml hand sanitizer

• A couple of individually packaged sweets / mints

Print Settings

This is very easy to print, and should be fine on any printer. 

The lid has the design embossed .02mm to make colour painting easy in your slicer. The embossing is so shallow that your slicer will ignore it if you don't want to use my design.

Recommended material: PLA or PETG (for heat and UV resistance, ASA if you're using in Summer)

Layer height: 0.34 mm

Infill: 12–15 % (Gyroid or Grid)

Perimeters: 2

Supports: Not required 

Orientation: Flat side down!
