These label holders snap onto the handle of small parts storage drawers. They are designed to fit handles that come out straight and then angle down at 120 degrees. My unit has 2 drawer sizes: the smaller drawers are 54mm wide and the larger ones are 140mm wide.

The holder can be installed by angling it down to the right and sliding the left edge up over the handle. Once it is locked in place, push up on the right side until it also clicks into place. It can be removed by pushing the right top tab over and reversing the installation process. This is demonstrated in the attached video.

With a clear plastic drawer, the  label can be installed behind the drawer handle to protect it from smudges. If you change labels frequently, you may prefer to install the holder first and then add a label to the front (both approaches shown in video).

I used light card stock for the labels (about 0.2mm thick). The labels are trapezoidal in shape. They are harder to cut than rectangles but I wanted to maximize the print space. The labels for the small drawers are 38mm across the top, 33mm across the bottom and 11mm high. If you don't have an automatic cutting tool (like a Cricut) - a printable stencil is included to help with drawing/cutting out labels manually.

Printing Tips

I integrated print supports into the model. My preferred print orientation is with the holder sitting flat on its bottom, but that has a small footprint. I added some helper disks and a rear support to improve bed adhesion. This means that there is some post-processing to be done (but at least none that needs to be performed on the slot for the label itself). I also used standard "paint-on" supports for the two top wings that clip above the handle.

It's possible that a holder could be printed without supports but I print them in quantity (10 at a time) and they might not hold in that case. There is also a version of the "raw" (no supports) holder model for those who want to try playing.
