This is a version of an original design from @tlavedas that you can color however you want. It doesn't quite look as pretty or neatly shaded as the original design, but it works. If you're seeing this before the original, I recommend going to get the original which is more appealing with its gradient shading.
For my version, I'm including the files for the stained-glass cardinal with, and without, a stand, as well as an ornament version. (Yes I used text to make objects).
Anyway, I made this because I wanted to color this my own way, but the original model made it difficult to do so easily.
Eventually I said, F- it, and took a screenshot of the original design, removed all colors so just the lines were left, removed the "background" so the entire image was just the lines, converted the "line art" image to a .SVG, used shapes in PrusaSlicer to add a recessed fill to the entire model so it maintained the "stained-glass" look and feel, saved it as a .STL to mold it all together, and THEN I was finally able to color each sector however I wanted using the "Smart Fill" feature.
It's not as nice looking as the original, but it's what I wanted. Being new to 3D printing, I'm still trying to figure out how to stop it from leaving gaps between the print lines, but I'm sure whoever might use this will know more than me on how to do that.
Well, I hope you enjoy this, and be sure to check out the original designer. They have PLENTY of other "stained-glass" designs.
