This is my Project of making caters who you can eaysly mount in any kind of headphones. Current version uses a vape Battery with 360mah witch lasts ca 2-3h. I plan to build a v2 with a 500mah Battery and proper power management in the future.
Known Problems
at the moment the ESP with WLED runs really hot (60c) and the Battery voltage (3.7v-4.2v) gos directly to the ESP. And Not all LEDs are visible from the front.

You also need some easy to solder cable and jumper connectors

here you just need to glue the front plate in the housing

Here you stick the ESP and BMS with dublesidet tape together and solder small wire from the ESP to the BMS over the opesidside from the usb port
