This is my simple cold shoe adapter design for the Sigma Bf. It's a quick print that relies entirely on being a tight fit rather than extra parts, prints in 20 minutes on my Centauri Carbon printer, and requires no supports.
I don't really miss the lack of a hot/cold shoe on the Bf but I'm planning to record some video on it with a gimbal and though the Rode Wireless Pro magnetically sticks to the top left of the camera (which is a useful hidden feature) I can't really trust that when it's being thrown around by a gimbal. So I whipped this up.
I printed mine in PolyMaker PolyTerra PLA. The tolerances are quite exact and the first time you place it onto the camera it will be tight. If your printer is less precise you may need to scale the model up very slightly, but it might then need adjusting to prevent fouling on the lens release button. I've attached my OrcaSlicer config files for the print, but the main things to note are inner/outer/inner wall order, 3 wall loops, 10% grid infill (honestly I forgot to change this, feel free to experiment), and ironing for all top surfaces with 30% flow rate. But this is a simple model and should work with a variety of settings.
Go check out this model from Katsuya Shinmori if you're looking for a design that clamps mechanically instead of requiring a friction fit.
There are two versions of this model. v1 is friction fit but it might scratch the glossy metal of the mount on the Bf; v2 addresses this by being larger and designed to take 1mm adhesive foam (the same used for film camera light seals). v2 is the recommended variant but I've kept the original version available in case anyone wants it for a size reference etc. For v2, apply foam to the inside of the ring and underside of the cold shoe, it will fit snugly and not move. I recommend sanding the edges after printing to ensure there's nothing likely to scratch.
