Revo Dust Plug

This M-Lite Revo dust plug is precision-printed in TPU to provide a flexible, durable seal that protects the M-Lite Revo by Filmatura battery/ SD Card compartment safe from dust, debris, and residue when not in use. Designed for a snug press-fit, the TPU material allows the plug to conform slightly during insertion while maintaining its shape over repeated use.

Printed at a 0.16 mm optimal layer height, the plug achieves a balance between surface quality and dimensional accuracy. A reduced 0.08 mm first layer ensures excellent bed adhesion and consistent base geometry, while the single-wall first layer minimizes compression artifacts in the contact surface.

Structural integrity is reinforced with three wall loops and a 35% grid infill, providing enough internal support to resist deformation without making the plug overly stiff. A 50% top/bottom overlap improves layer bonding and reduces internal separation, which is especially important for flexible TPU parts.

Print speeds are intentionally conservative—particularly on outer walls and top surfaces—to maintain clean edges, uniform extrusion, and predictable flexibility. Cooling is limited to a fixed 35% fan speed, preventing brittleness and preserving TPU elasticity. A 230 °C nozzle temperature and low 0.4 mm retraction help ensure smooth flow and minimize stringing.
