I recently added the extended shelf and leg to my Shaper Origin Station. I already had a larger shelf with dog holes which I wanted to use as well. Rather than going through the bother or transferring the leg connector to the other shelf every time I swapped them out, I designed and printed a second connector. It uses standard M6-1.0 bolts through a relief and clearance hole in the shelf. (Shaper files to cut the holes are available on Shaper Hub.) The 8mm pin fits nicely in the new connector, as well.
The 6mm bolt holes are threaded. I used my tap and die kit to provide a bit of a smoother fit, but it's not necessary. After the first time it's attached, the threads will give a little. I printed this in PETG with tree supports for the pin holes, and strength settings of 6 wall loops, 30% infill and Adaptive Cubic fill.
