I accidentally ended up printing a newer X Carriage that replaced the HS inserts with screwholes. While I managed to get two nuts into the holes and managed to insert the left screw I failed misserably inserting the right one. Ther was just not enough space and patience...
I ended up replacing the two screwholes in the motorplate that were used to attach it to the carriage with holes for M3x4.5x5 Heat Set Inserts. Now I can fix the screws from the back of the carriage, which might be less ideal for hitting them, but there is way more space
follow instructions for original
add two additional HS inserts into the two modified holes, the ones used to secure the motor plate to the x carriage
Use M3 screws insterted into the screw holes on the carriage back side
