Pretty simple stuff. No need for supports. It just fixes your mailbox if the hinge breaks. Glue into place using a pretty decent glue. I think I used superglue the first time and it didn't work well so I used silicone the second time and it has held.
This is the first thing I designed so it isn't very polished but it worked.
