I wanted a treble cover that would fit a range of fishing lures that was easy to install or remove.
The cover is in a "V" pattern, with one hook point sliding into the hole at the base of the V. The V is set at a 64-degree angle, so you have to squeeze the legs inwards to slide the other two hooks into place.
This keeps the cover securely in place for a range of hook sizes.
At the base of the V, there is a cutaway for latching the lure onto the eye of a rod for storage. The cover and hook can be folded back onto the lure's body for compact storage.
I have tested it in PETG using two perimeters and 10% infill. It seems to have just the right amount of spring in the legs
