The stand makes it possible to stack M1/M2 MacMini and same size USB hubs or external drives. You can install an 120 mm fan with the Fan Plate. The cable can be routed through one of the hex holes. If the plug is too big and you're not comfortable to take it apart, you'll need to open up one of them. I find that the stand let's the air circulate enough for everyday use. If you want to leave out the Fan Plate you might need the shims. Scale them in z-axis as required and glue them in place with a drop of CA glue.
