I loved the original version of this but thought of an easy way to eliminate the need for the added padding. Instead, this version uses small nubs to hold the Playdate in via its screw holes.
It's tight enough to keep it locked in for anything short of aggressively shaking the thing, but loose enough that you can still pop it out with minimal force.
