This is a simple 3D printable accessory designed for the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro. It keeps the soft power button ("soft start") permanently pressed, allowing the printer to automatically turn on when power is supplied via a smart plug.
🔌 Why?
Normally, after powering on the printer via a smart plug, you still have to manually press the soft start button to actually start the machine. This little tool eliminates that extra step – perfect for remote control and automation setups.
🛠 Installation
The accessory is held in place using a standard USB stick inserted into the front USB port. The USB stick provides the necessary pressure to keep the part securely mounted. It mechanically holds the button in the “on” position.
🧪 Print Notes
The parts shown in the photos were printed quickly just for testing purposes – the quality isn’t great, but they work perfectly. You’ll likely get a much better result with your usual print settings.

Device should be flexible, but printed in PLA in orientation like on picture (on the side) is OK.
No supports needed.
