I found the tight spacing between the WHEEDF filters in the WHADUS5 filter housing makes unscrewing the filters for replacement difficult. This filter wrench solves this problem.
Printing
Print Whirlpool_WHADUS5_Filter_Wrench.3mf using a strong filament such as PETG. Print using at least 3 perimeters and a high infill such as 25% with a strong infill pattern, I used gyroid as that is my default. Otherwise I used the PrusaSlicer 0.20mm QUALITY print settings. The print file has been orientated so that it will print strong and not need supports.
Use
Align the cross in the filter wrench with the cross on the filter and twist. As a bonus this wrench has clearance such that it will work with my filter housing mounting brackets. The hexagonal hole through the wrench is for tying a loop of string so that the wrench can be hung up near the filter housing and be easily located for the next filter change.
