I'm not sure on the origination of this version of dreidel but it is a fun game to play with your family and friends. Typically it is played as a way of gambling that can be as inexpensive or costly as you would like.
The rules are simple,
Decide what your currency is going to be before planning to play since everyone is going to need to come prepared. If you are using quarters then I would recommend at least a couple rolls per person. If you want to keep it family or kid friendly then use Poker Chips, M&M's, Beans, whatever you have a lot of laying around.
(Lets decide we are playing with quarters for this part) - Everyone puts 1 quarter into the middle of the table as the POT. Decide who is spinning first and they spin the dreidel. Once it stops read what the dreidel says facing up.
There are 8 actions
AP - All Pay - Everyone puts another quarter into the pot including the player that spun and the next person spins the dreidel.
TA - Take All - The person that spun takes the entire pot, this ends the round. Everyone puts 1 quarter back into the pot to start the next round.
T1 - Take 1 - The person that spun takes 1 quarter from the pot and play moves to the next person.
T2 - Take 2 - The person that spun takes 2 quarters from the pot and play moves to the next person.
T3 - Take 3 - The person that spun takes 3 quarters from the pot and play moves to the next person.
P1 - Pay 1 - The person that spun puts 1 quarter in the pot and play moves to the next person.
P2 - Pay 2 - The person that spun puts 2 quarters in the pot and play moves to the next person.
P3 - Pay 3 - The person that spun puts 3 quarters in the pot and play moves to the next person.
If at any point the pot runs dry, start again with everyone paying to start another round. If there are only 2 quarters in the pot and someone gets a T3 then they only get what is currently in the pot.
And that is it! Have fun and try not to lose too much money.
Oh yea and printing tips - 50% infill, print standing up with supports (use normal supports and not trees as it seemed to work better for me) Make sure to show me your makes when you get them done!
Enjoy!!
