We needed a mechanism to hold an Eppendorf tube under a microscope at an angle consistently. This mechanism uses small hairbands to keep it in place, and compression forces of the stand allow you to adjust the angle. Depending on how your microscope's table can be adjusted, this might not sit low enough to the surface to get in focus. You can print a few and keep them in the associated holder on your desk.
