My 2014 KIVIK couch does not have enough spacers built in to the design to prevent the wood from bending when the bolts are tightened. Use one of these spacers at each of the eight 'arm' to 'seat' bolts so that you can fully tighten/preload the bolts to keep the couch stiff.
