22LR Suppressor & Ammo Storage Box

If you are a .22LR shooter and have been looking for a suppressor storage box, you might be in the right place. This box is designed to hold a 1" diameter 22 suppressor that's up to 6 inches long.

I designed two original pieces for this storage box project. First, the double well inset that fits into the storage box. This houses the suppressor and ammo. Second, cushions that sandwich the suppressor in place. The cushions are super glued in place. If you don't want to mess with TPU, you could just wrap your suppressor in a light cloth for storage, or get felt stick-on furniture pads from the hardware store and size them for the pad locations in the insert. They are 12mm L x 8mm W x 3.375mm Thick.

Specs on the parts: PLA & TPU
6 x Cushions - TPU 95A, 15% infill (not that any infill is needed, as the part is so small)
1 x Shell holder plate - PLA 35% infill
1 x Double well insert - PLA 15% infill
1 x Rugged box - there are 5 parts for the box
       -1 ea Top & bottom clam shells - PLA 35% infill
       -2 x Latches - PLA 85% infill
       -1 x Box seal - TPU 95A - 100% solid. This does not have to be printed as having it installed will not make the box water tight. However, if you do want to print it, scale it to 99% size. It tends to grow a little as it get squeezed into its channel.

The shell holder plate is not needed either if you do not want it. Two 50 round boxes of ammo will fit in the ammo storage well if you don't want loose ammo.

The double well insert is designed to fit with a .5mm clearance within the inside dimension of the bottom clam shell part of the box. You can leave it loose if you want, but I would recommend super gluing it in place so it does not slide around.

There are 3 box files included, one with extruded text for "HUXWRX FLOW 22 Ti" the other "SILENCERCO SPARROW 22." The final box top is blank, and I have included my Fusion360 save file for the blank top if you want to add your own extruded text. 

You will need 6x 3x30mm cap head screws for the box hinges and latches.
