Update: Added new profile that adds two updates. First, it also has the brim ears on 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm blocks to help improve the printing of those "cantilevered" thin pieces that have a tendency to warp. Second, it has labels imprinted into the top of each block indicating which size it is, to make it easier to identify when organized in the linked Gridfinity bin (see third photo above).
This is a set of metric setup blocks, significantly inspired by this model. As I was attempting to make a non-AMS version, however, I ended up just rebuilding them from scratch, all .step files are included here. The primary difference is that the labels “2mm”, “3mm”, etc. are fully extruded through the model, making it easy to print without an AMS while retaining extremely legible label text. I've highlighted the 3 edges that correspond with the block's size in one of the model photos above.
