I made the modular Fiddle 4 String V4 but was surprised not a single Violin case was available for it or a standard Violin. My wife (Professional Violinist) said the Fiddle produced quite a decent sound and she needed to travel with it. This was a quick remix of the Parametric Rugged box to fit the Fiddle and also a standard bow. Added optional box and accessory holders (Turtle and Unicorn) since the Fiddle I made had lights in built. I printed in PETG and used Di Chloro Methane (Weldon3) to glue (weld) the segments together. I used Silicon to hold the base/neck/accessory holders in case I needed to change in the future.
The Chin rest holder I split the print and paused to switch to TPU for the last cm to protect the Violin. Probably should have printed the base holder in TPU as well. The neck clasp should be printed in TPU and holds in place with a pair of 6mmx6mm round magnet.
I'm sure the box is big enough to hold the Viola version of this Fiddle if needed but that hasn't been tested.
There is also this much smaller box here to just fit the Fiddle without a bow
