Fully Parametric Rectangular Cutting Jig
For use with an X-ACTO knife for soft materials such as paper and leather
This is a two part cutting jig to cut paper and leather into precise rectangles. The material is wedged between the two surfaces, and following the de-bossed knife guide allows for consistent cutting of a straight and precise rectangular side using and X-ACTO knife.
The linked file is for trimming B6 (passport size) notebooks, but the size can changed by editing the variable studio values in this OnShape document. I can also add other sizes by request.
