RC Boat: USS Crockett Deck Structures

I got tired of making parts for this kit so I'm doing some CAD and printing a few of the big ones to save time and get them looking better. I printed these using in gray filament from Bambu. 15% fill, tree support.

--3" Gun Turret: I made the barrel hollow to use easily available brass tubing.  The photo shows my crummy built-up version on the left, made using parts in the kit and on the right is my printed version. --Turbine Exhaust: I left the top open but with a recessed lip so a grating can be added later

--Mist Eliminator: Print vertically. I suspect the protrusions are small enough that it can be run without support but I used trees anyway.

--Turbine Air Intake: Prints without support

--Starboard Hatch: The handle is only 1mm dia but it's short enough that it can be printed without support. 

--40mm Bofors Platform: No surprises; prints fine without supports. 

--Bofors Mount: Print with traditional support; very little is needed. When the parts are done pop the tiny bit of the stuff out of the bottom of the big plate, glue the  10mm dia pin into it and then slide the cylindrical riser onto it. This can now be attached to the Bofors Platform

--Bofors Seat: Print two with support.

--Deck Hatches: You'll need to print 5

-A few more parts will follow but that's it for the big stuff.
