Requirements
You first need to make sure this pot fits your balcony handrail:
- Distance between bars: 105mm
- Size of bars: 18mm x 18mm
- Smaller bars may be compensated with more anti-slip material.
Materials
- Ca. 265 g of filament (tested with Sunlu PLA+)
- Four M4x16 bolts and nuts
- Four patches of anti-slip material, roughly 18mm x 18mm and half a mm thick.
How to build
- Print the pot and two clamps. For the pot, use relatively thick layers and at least 3 contours, more is better for water tightness.
- Wrap some anti-slip material around the handrail before screwing each bracket to the flower pot.
- Plant your flower.
Fits on a Prusa Mini (18cm cubed print space).
This is the V3, which has no longer a spout (it wasn't necessary but ants loved it because it guaranteed they wouldn't be drowned) and the new clamps keep the pot a bit better from being slanted when the plant hangs out on one side.
