RedCat 51 V2 ZWO EAF mount

Remix of Jannis483 mount to make it compatible with a V2 RedCat 51  ( needs smaller rings).

The mount is a complete re-design, in pics shows 2 colors just because I ran out of black PLA-CF during the final print, it came out cool by chance!.

Smaller rings to make it compatible with a V2 RedCat 51 . Base mount re-designed from scratch has a shoe to fit the original ring mount base, slimmer design to reduce weight.  EAF now rests on the dovetail to allow more clearance for the belt/gear.  3rd bolt moved to the center

RINGS NEED FELT to properly fit, any piece of cloth works, I used an old lens pouch .  It is a "just tight enough"  fit once the belt is in place not to squeeze the focuser tube.

Printed in PLA-CF for more rigidity, any creep under temperature changes or light weight of a redcat+accesories/camera should be negligible. 

Attaching the 3rd bolt to the dovetail is somewhat tricky, but provides a cleaner look and an unobtrusive solution. 

STEP file included  for base, includes a "mock" model of my EAF version for proto testing (not the latest EAF model), so just print the mounting bracket!!.   Mesh file for rings only (I only scaled down to D=77mm the original rings using the mesh file published by the original author).   Ring nut holes widened a bit to fit hardware available in the US market.

Material:

Piece of cloth ( 1mm thick felt preferably) to cut in two strips to tape inside of rings

Double sided cloth tape

1x1/4" standard bolt for center ( +nut/washer underneath)

2xM3 bolts for rings ( 15mm+ long OK)

2xM6x40mm bolts  to attach scope ring base

1x GT2  20T x 5mm timing belt pulley for the EAF

B155MXL 6mm timing belt ( aprox 315 mm length ) or similar compatible with GT2 -  6mm wide.

Note: mount allows for some distance adjustment between pulley and focuser rings, this allows some play with pulley diameters/belt rings combinations.  (Tip 300 mm is too short for a 20T pulley)
