Project Description: Custom MQ135 Sensor Housing
This is a precision-designed, 3D-printed enclosure for the MQ135 Air Quality Gas Sensor. The housing is engineered to securely hold the sensor module while allowing maximum airflow to the sensing element for accurate gas detection.
Design Features
Secure Integrated Mount: Features a built-in mounting tab (eyelet) for easy attachment to walls, monitor stands, or internal project chassis.
Cable Management: Includes a dedicated side cutout for the 4-pin JST/Dupont connector, providing strain relief and preventing accidental disconnections.
Optimized Airflow: The low-profile yellow casing ensures the metal mesh dome is fully exposed to the environment, crucial for detecting ammonia ($NH_3$), nitrogen oxides ($NO_x$), alcohol, benzene, smoke, and $CO_2$.
Durable & Compact: Printed in a high-visibility yellow filament, making it easy to identify within a complex electronics build or air purifier assembly.
