A Bottom Loading Silly Shell Pistol.
This is designed too look kinda like that one pistol from Kingsman, yea that one.
I have included STEP Files. This is a first for me. Please don't steal my work. I've put more time than i care to admit into this. The STEP file is there for folks to do work on this on their own. For the community to make cool stuff. If you want to sell your version or adaptation of Trident, please come talk to me.
Couple notes:
Don't Dry fire this blaster. Youre fighting against layer lines if you do. I managed to break one of my prototypes by throwing 1) too big a spring in it and 2) dry firing it.
All blasters need the parts that are in the "Common Components" folder
For BearsWares kits, use the files in the "Bearswares PARTS" Folder - This is the standard release of this blaster.
For Out of Darts kits, use the files in the "OOD PARTS" Folder.
The parts used exclusively by the OOD kit will have a "_OOD" on the file names
The OOD prints are ONLY compatible with the OOD kit. Please do not use them on the Bearswares kit. I will move them to their own listing if this becomes a hassle. If you need a BOM for the OOD kit, dm me - ill explain the differences. The main difference is the Plunger tube used. Bears kit uses a Zinc tube, OOD uses a long little rocket tube.
The Bill of Materials (BearsWares kits):
2x Dash 117 Oring
2x Dash 216 Oring
1x Dash 204 Oring
7x 3x4x5 Heat sets inserts
1x M3 Square Nut
1x Short Spring (Max dims 4.2mm OD x 14mm Long)
1x Zinc Plunger tube (1in ID, 1.125in OD x 6in Long)
1x tc length spring (cut some K25 or something)
6x Slug Spec 4-40s
6x M3x12 SHCS
4x M3x25 SHCS
1x M3x20 Button head (this is the shell carrier pivot, it can be changed out for a SHCS if you dont care about the looks)
8-10in Elastic cord
Build Guide:
(look at the files, its called "Trident Assembly Guide" and is a PDF. ) This will be a bit different for OOD kits, but should be similar enough to not rewrite it.
For Print Orientations:
Only the "Grip Main", "End Cap", "Latch Carrier" need support - I use Organic, On build plate only.
The "Frontend" has a built in support that should be ripped out. Print the Frontend so that the section where the orings and PT go is solid. I normally go with between 6-8 walls. This also gives it some heft in the front that feels good. It is also important to turn on "Detect Thin Walls" for the Frontend, as the built in supports need them to print on some printers. Best to just do it even though you may not need it.

Update 20JUN26 - Updated Sear to reduce "Dead Trigger" Failure mode.
Update 24SEP26 - Added OOD files. Loosened the Shell Carrier pivot by .1mm.
