As you can see from the photos, I printed this with the flat side down using supports. This was printed with Hatchbox Silver PLA with 50% fan after the second layer. I use a heated bed at 55C and the hotend at 200C.
How I Designed This
I borrowed an original battery cover and used digital calipers to measure all of the features. I then built this in Autodesk Fusion 360. It took three iterations to get it correct. I exported it to STL and used Simplify3d to slice it.
