This bust depicts Plato, one of the most influential philosophers of ancient Greece and the founder of the Academy of Athens. The model is inspired by the most iconic and widely recognized representation of the philosopher, based on ancient Roman busts that shaped his image throughout history.
Facial proportions are carefully preserved to ensure immediate recognizability. The features are intentionally strong: the calm, introspective gaze, broad forehead, and structured beard convey the intellectual depth and serenity commonly associated with his philosophy. Fine details are deliberately reduced in favor of clear, readable volumes, making the model particularly suitable for 3D printing.
