HBADA E3 Pro // Armrest - Low-Height Replacement Alternative

The HBADA E3 Pro Office / Gaming chair is known for his excessive height of the 6D-armrest.

With the standard armrest, it's impossible to have a comfortable seat height and still be able to move closer to the desk with the armrests being under the desk.

This is why i designed a custom, static "zero-D"-armrest with a reduced height and zero adjustments.  So far, i have no issues with stability or rigidity of the print, printed in PLA and i can enjoy sitting close to my desk.

Some specs:

• approx. 15cm rest height measured from the seat

• original M6 mounting screws can be reused

• only 2x M6 Nylock nut is needed for fastening

• easy single-part print with minimal supports

Print Settings:

You will need a 300mm print bed. The largest dimension of the model is around 280mm!

Please print the armrest laying flat on it's side like shown in the pictures. It is very important for the stability and strength of the interface geometry.

• Layer height: 0.28mm

• Wall Strength: 5

• Infill Density: 12%

• Infill Type: Gyroid

It took around 6h:30m to print per armrest and 230g of PLA. 

The slot in the interface is designed to take a standard M6 Nylock nut with a regular fit. I added a small hole on the opposite side to be able to press the nut out should it ever be needed. Then the armrests can be installed just like the regular armrests of the HBADA E3 Pro - you can re-use the original screw for that. Tighten until the gap between the armrest and the chair is minimal (my fingernail cannot go in the gap).
