This is for use with the Wall Workshop 2.0 system, https://www.myminifactory.com/campaigns/wallworkshop-2-0-sliplok-expanded-5031. The backboards available as part of that set stand upright, and hold paint pots at an angle in front.
This model is intended to allow the backboard to tilt backwards instead, and allow the paints to sit upright. This can help when they're used for acrylic paint tubes, as it makes it easier to see what colour is in each tube.
