This game can be played multiple ways. There are different sized pegs with numbers on them. Players take turns adding pegs to the board, or stacking them on other pegs.
Game Variations:
1 - Multi-round high score challenge
RULES:
Take turns adding pegs 1 at a time to either the game board or on top of another of your pegs.
Play is finished when the board becomes unbalanced and stays touching on one side
Players can only stack a maximum of 3 pegs on top of one another
Person who's side didn't fall can collect points for each of the pegs remaining on the board. Each peg has a number inside the top, add them together to get a score for the round.
Play to a set number of points. 100 is a good starting point.
2 - Co-op play
RULES:
Take turns adding pegs 1 at a time to either the game board or on top of another of your pegs.
Try to maintain balance on the board by stacking as many or all of the pegs as possible on the board
Compare scores across multiple rounds, or against another team of 2
3 - Removal
RULES:
Start the game by adding the same pattern of pegs on both sides of the balance board before placing it on the rounded pedestal.
Take turns removing 1 peg at a time from the game board
Game is lost when the board tips towards the opponent's side.
Pegs might pop off during printing if you don't have good adhesion. Add a brim if you're having issues.
Printing Instructions:
You can play with the infill on the board or pieces to make it more or less stable. I printed all of the pegs at 100% infill and the board at 15% to make it a bit more unstable.
All parts can be printed with no supports, chamfers were added to the pegs to print standing up.
I printed these numbers of pegs, you can experiment with mix if your board balances differently:
10x - Peg #1
8x - Peg #2
6x - Peg #3
4x - Peg #5
2x - Peg #10
I'm hoping to release a V2 of this game once I have some more time play testing it. I would like to make a four player version with boards going the other two directions, and a rounded pedestal.
Let me know if you enjoy!
