My 6" paperwhite is great and handholds like a comfy paperback, but sometimes I just want to have it mounted to read from. With my case (https://a.co/d/hrmqW80), the kindle is about 14mm thick and the mount has some wiggle room for a > ~1mm thicker case. It could likely hold a larger reader, but then the balance might be off and lead to tipping backward.
It's pretty easy to add your own text to the front flat face, as I did in the "Keep Reading" version, at least in Prusa Slicer.
I'm sure any rigid material will work. I printed PLA at .3mm for speed, 5% infill and 3 perimeters.
