The spherical concavity adds rings similar to topographical lines, with each layer showing the alternating fill direction of the nozzle -- I think these add a nice texture to the top surface.
Here are some sizing suggestions,
Small: 100x65mm, suitable for most standard soap bars
Large (default): 140x90, suitable for large blocks of soap
The cover photo is "large". You may want to reduce the height to 8-10mm too.
