I bought some cheap kayak wheels from aliexpress. They came with one strap that you somehow had to use to secure the wheels under your kayak. I dedicated two 1" straps to the wheels. Now I can just hook the straps to the wheel frame. The strap length needed stays about the same, so Hook, Tighten and Go. Much better.
I printed them with 5 vertical and horizontal layers for strength. I used a 0.6mm nozzle and a 0.4mm layer height. So far so good.
Maybe these hooks can be used for other purposes. They fit a 0.75" tube and an 1" strap. Strangely, the Chinese wheels use Imperial tubes.
